CEIA is delighted to announce the birth of ELE – Electronic Library on Empathy, consisting of a wide range of academic articles on empathy.
The Library comprises studies and papers in a wide range of disciplines that address or relate to empathy. The library is constantly expanding to incorporate new articles, but is currently organised according to the following broad empathy categories: definition and relevance, measurement, training (including sub-categories of medicine, nursing, education, mediation, and the arts), gender, neuroscience, psychology, international affairs, and policymaking.
Although the library cannot be made public, due to copyright, it is a vital tool for informing CEIA’s ongoing research into the nature of empathy, how empathy can be used to resolve and prevent conflict, and how to enhance our empathy skills and psychological awareness.
